Interest In Being A Law Student Term Paper

¶ … attend the University of Hong Kong Law School. I am applying for admission to the University of Hong Kong Law School for a number of reasons. First, I feel the law school at the University of Hong Kong is one of the best law schools in the world, and I would feel very privileged to attend it. In addition, during my education and employment in the United States, I have worked with law offices in California and in Hong Kong in a variety of areas, so I feel I have the necessary background that will make me successful in the school. Finally, I was born in Hong Kong, and my family immigrated to the United States when I was 14. I can focus in international law especially as it pertains to both business and science, and I have an analytical mind, which will help me with the many facets of information a law degree requires. I have always had an interest in the law, and I feel I would make a good international lawyer because of my bicultural background, and my understanding of business dynamics in both the United States and Hong Kong.
I am a good student, and I have excellent study habits, which will help me in my graduate law studies. I am also quite familiar with Hong Kong and the surrounding area, so I will not suffer from "culture shock" or homesickness attending a school far away from my family.
